Contest Winner's Craft

Hello, Since Kel was the winner of my Craft Contest, And she wanted to know a fun craft that you could make with beads, I found this for her :)

Bead Ornaments

If you want to have fun during the holidays with a cheery, fun craft. Then Hopefully you will like this idea

Materials
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Transparent craft beads (5- to 10-millimeter diameters)
Steps

  •      Bend an end of a pipe cleaner into a 90-degree angle. Have your child thread on beads from the opposite end, stopping a half inch from the tip.
    1. Twist together the two ends, and the strand is ready to shape into a star, a candy cane, or another festive object.

  • Variations:
  • Twist together the ends of two pipe cleaners for a longer strand, or attach short beaded lengths to add a striker to a bell or holly berries to a wreath.
(I found this awesome craft on FamilyFun.com)

We also had a second winner!!!
Crystal
!!!

Materials

  • Pieces of colorful fabric or scarves -- anything shiny, silky, or draping
Steps

Bring out a few pieces of colorful fabric or scarves -- anything shiny, silky, or draping -- and let her twirl them around as she moves.
  1. You can use the fabric for a dancing game of peekaboo, hold some up for a makeshift curtain, or tie it on for a swinging skirt. Try holding two corners each and wave the fabric like a parachute, in time to the music.
  2. If your child's pretty steady on her feet, hold one corner each and let your child spin toward you into the fabric, then pull it to send her twirling away again.
